Extension and remodel of new family home

Our clients bought this house because they fell in love with the space but didn’t like the appearance of the house from the street so the house needed a refresh which is where we came in.

The house has been added to several times in the past which although added lots of space, the spaces created were slightly awkward and disjointed. A large portion of the floor area was dedicated as an annex.

The objective was to increase the curb appeal and value of the property, while reconfiguring the layout to create a spacious and comfortable family home.

We obtained planning permission for a single storey extension and a first floor extension to the rear, to amend the flat roof dormers to gables, a small porch to the front entrance and to change the existing roof form and materials.
