Two-storey family extension and remodel

Our clients came to us to improve their home for their everyday family needs. Both clients work from home and needed more private space due to the sensitive nature of their work. The children’s playroom was accessed through the study, the existing kitchen hadn’t been touched in a long time and was both falling apart and didn’t work for modern family life. The existing conservatory was typically too hot in summer and too cold in winter and the master bedroom was cramped and lacked decent storage and the existing front entrance was uninviting and lacked identity.

Designing a space to fit their needs and budget we achieved a positive planning determination for a two-storey extension. Extending to the rear enabled us to create a large open plan family living, dining and kitchen space and transform the existing living area into a dedicated living room/snug. A new porch has also been added to the front of the house and the master has been extended with new en-suite and dressing area.
